Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These terms apply when you open an account with Alphavantiq Capital ("we", "us") and use our website, investor dashboard and app. Please read them with our Privacy Policy and the risk warning below. By opening an account you agree to them.
1. Risk warning
Trading leveraged and volatile instruments carries a high level of risk. The value of your account can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you put in, or lose all of it. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Only invest money you can afford to leave invested through a period of losses. Nothing we publish is personal financial, tax or legal advice; if you are unsure whether this is right for you, speak to an independent adviser.
2. Who can open an account
You must be at least 18, able to enter into a binding agreement, and not prevented by the laws of your country from investing with us. We may ask you for identity documents and proof of where your money comes from, and we may decline or close an account where we cannot verify this or the law requires it.
3. Your account and security
You are responsible for keeping your password and devices secure. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to your account. We will never ask for your password by email, phone or message.
4. Deposits
- The minimum first deposit is $3,000, unless we have agreed a different amount with you in writing. Later deposits can be any amount.
- Deposits are made by bank transfer using the personal reference shown in your dashboard.
- Money is invested on the day it arrives in our account, for the amount that actually arrived. Money sent but not yet received is not invested.
- We may return a deposit that we cannot match to you or that we are not able to accept by law.
5. How your balance works
From the day your money is invested, your balance moves by the same percentage as the programme's trading results, after the fees set out below. Money invested later only shares in results from the day it is invested. Your dashboard shows your balance in dollars and your return in percent, and your monthly statement shows every movement.
6. Fees
Both fees are a share of profit. They are calculated every two months, for the periods January and February, March and April, May and June, July and August, September and October, and November and December, and taken from your balance at the end of each period.
- Management fee: 5% of the profit your account made in that two-month period. No management fee is charged for a period in which your account did not make a profit.
- Performance fee: 50% of your profit after the management fee, charged only on profit above your own previous high point (your high-water mark). After a loss, no performance fee is charged until that loss has been earned back.
- If we have agreed different fees with you in writing, those apply instead, and your dashboard shows the rates that apply to you.
- If you close your account part way through a period, fees are calculated for the part of the period before it closes.
- Each fee is shown on your statement and in your dashboard.
7. Withdrawals
- You can request a withdrawal from your dashboard. We pay withdrawals only to the bank account held on file for you in your own name.
- A lock-up period applies from your first deposit, and a standard withdrawal limit and notice period apply, as shown on our website and in your dashboard when your money is committed. Requests within the standard limit are paid within the notice period.
- Larger requests, and requests during the lock-up period, are reviewed with you and may take longer. They are not refused without a reason.
- For your protection, after a change to your payout bank details, withdrawals are held for review for 48 hours.
8. Trades and information in your dashboard
We publish closed trades to your dashboard with the market, direction, date and result. We do not disclose strategy settings or the details that make the strategies work. Figures in the dashboard come from our records and valuations of the trading accounts. If you believe a figure or a statement is wrong, tell us within 30 days and we will investigate and correct any error.
9. Closing your account
You can ask to close your account at any time from your dashboard. We pay your balance, after any fees due, to your bank account on file, send a final statement, and delete your personal details as described in our Privacy Policy. We may close your account with reasonable notice, or immediately where the law requires it or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will tell you about a material change by email or in your dashboard before it takes effect. A change to fees, the lock-up, the withdrawal limit or the notice period does not apply to money you have already invested unless you agree to it.
11. Our liability
We will run the programme with reasonable skill and care. We are not responsible for trading losses in themselves, which are a risk of investing, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as market closures, broker or bank failures, or failures of networks we do not operate. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with our service, email invest@alphavantiqcapital.com. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve it within 15 working days.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Alphavantiq Capital is registered, and disputes will be handled by its courts, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
